FOREIGN STUDENTS
PERMANENT WORKERS
You must be 18 years of age or over and want to settle in Quebec in order to hold a job.
You must have received your Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) from the Government of Quebec in order to then apply for permanent residence (visa) as a skilled worker.
As part of the CSQ application for skilled workers, you will have to choose between the Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) and the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). BUSINESSPEOPLE
Investor Program
This program contains financial requirements, such as having, alone or with your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, a net worth of at least $ 2,000,000. You will also need to make a five-year term investment in the amount of $ 1,200,000 with Investissement Québec - Immigrants Investisseurs inc.
Entrepreneur Program
This program is intended for people with experience in operating an agricultural, industrial or commercial business and who wish to create or acquire such a business in Quebec.
Self-Employed Worker Program
The self-employed worker program also requires financial requirements. In fact, you must have a net asset of 100,000 Canadian dollars, and you must also have at least two years of experience in the trade or profession you intend to practice in Quebec.
If you choose to come and settle in Quebec temporarily for your studies, your eligibility will be assessed on the basis of your academic and linguistic achievements.
Requires a letter of admission to an educational institution in Quebec. In addition, you will need to obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies as well as a study permit, issued by the Government of Quebec.
You can choose to come and stay temporarily in Quebec to work there. You must obtain an authorization to work temporarily in Quebec. If you are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident domiciled in Quebec and at least 18 years old, you will be able to sponsor a close relative and, if applicable, the members of his or her family.
Possible to sponsor:

+ Dependent child
+ Father, mother, grandfather, grandmother
+ Brother, sister, nephew, niece, grandsons or granddaughter, orphan of father and mother, under 18, not married or common-law
+ Child to adopt
